About Cypress

Strength, longevity, resilience

The Cypress tree, native to British Columbia, has long stood for the values we hold. This is who we are.

I.Our history

Two generations of care

We are proud to be a second-generation, family-owned and operated funeral home. For more than two decades the Chasca family has served the BC Interior, beginning in Vernon in 2001, then growing to Armstrong, Lake Country, and later Kamloops.

As a family business, we understand the unique needs and traditions of the communities we serve, and we are honoured to continue a legacy of compassion and care.

“We are very grateful to the communities we serve, and our passion for providing guidance and comfort to bereaved families has always been at the core of our business.”
